The GMVN Tourist Bunglow at Chandrapuri Road,Syalsaur was opened to guests in 1989. Overall there are 18 rooms. Out of which 14 are Deluxe Non-Ac rooms and 4 are Deluxe Ac rooms. There is an in-house pure vegetarian restaurant. Unlike some other places Syalsaur is accessible even during winter . A wide range of migratory birds flock near the river basin and the forests nearby during winter . The murmuring Alakananda is and the splendid view of Kedar Peak leaves a lingering impression on the viewer's mind .
